About Erwin Effler III

Erwin serves as president of Effler and works closely with customers across the nation, facilitating their growth strategies through end-to-end strategic real estate and facility solutions. Erwin is a widely respected professional whose experience includes business strategic planning facilitation and real estate advisory, development, investment, design, construction, and management. Erwin’s cross-functional expertise, leadership, and commitment to excellence make him a trusted advisor to his customers and their stakeholders.
Erwin’s relevant experience includes repositioning a family office’s real estate division along with several troubled projects; developing a 100-acre mixed-use project, leading the strategic planning and development of a $195-million hospital expansion, developing several medical office buildings across the country, originating dozens design-build opportunities, and optimizing operational aspects of a portfolio of 250+ medical office buildings across the nation.

Prior to founding Effler, Erwin served as vice president of development for a nationally recognized development, design, construction, and management firm and as development manager for Welltower (NYSE: WELL). Erwin earned masters degrees in real estate development and healthcare administration from Clemson University and Ohio University, respectively, as well as a bachelors degree in entrepreneurial studies from Ohio University and a certificate in hotel real estate investments and asset management from Cornell University.
